City of Maplewood truth in Housing Program

The city of Maplewood requires a Truth in Housing evaluation prior to marketing any property.  this report is required all single-family, duplex, townhouse or condominiums. The report must be on-site and available for all potential buyers to view.  Additionally a copy must be provided to the buyer at the time of signing a purchase agreement.

The Evaluation is a statement of the condition of the property based on the city guidelines.  It is meant to inform but there are no required corrections.

It is important to have a correct and accurate report in order to ensure a smooth real estate transaction and protect both the buyer and seller.
